The Fallout of the Ukraine Call



The White House has had a tumultuous last week or so. President Trump has come under fire from the Democrats, accusing him of abusing his power to ask the Ukrainian government for "help" in the upcoming election. These accusations led to Nancy Pelosi opening up an impeachment case against the President. However, many call the impeachment unconstitutional.

White House Counsel Pat Cipollone wrote in a statement, "As you know, you have designed and implemented your inquiry in a maimer that violates fundamental fairness and constitutionally mandated due process. For example, you have denied the President the right to cross-examine witnesses, to call witnesses, to receive transcripts of testimony, to have access to evidence, to have counsel present, and many other basic rights guaranteed to all Americans. You have conducted your proceedings in secret. You have violated civil liberties and the separation of powers by tlu·eatening Executive Branch officials, claiming that you will seek to punish those who exercise fundamental constitutional rights and prerogatives. All of this violates the Constitution, the rule of law, and eve1y past precedent. Never before in our history has the House of Representatives-under the control of either political party-taken the American people down the dangerous path you seem determined to pursue." 

These accusations continue the Democrats "witch hunt" against the President, looking for any kind of incriminating evidence to destroy his credibility and ruin his chances of staying in office following the next election. However, this has backfired for them, with many news outlets agreeing with Councilman Cippolone. This isn't the first time the left has taken to using unconstitutional means to slander President Trump, and it certainly won't be the last, pending the outcome of the impeachment and 2020 election.

Everyone knows what Google is. The company founded in 1998 has become one of the most influential companies in the world. The term "google" has become synonymous with searching something on the internet. It's acquisition of YouTube for $1.65 billion in 2006 helped their growth skyrocket.
